TERMS & CONDITIONS

Welcome Discount Offer:

  • House of Hill Gifts & Lifestyle offers 10% discount off customer’s first orders if they register for the offer by signing up to our e-newsletter.  This discount can be applied when their unique code is used at checkout.
  • The Welcome Discount Offer is only available once per customer and cannot be applied after first orders are placed.
  • Discounts are not available in conjunction with any other offers or on items on special.
  • Discounts are not available on shipping fees.
  • The Welcome Discount Offer is valid for 30 days after receiving the code via email.

 

Liabilities 

House of Hill Gifts & Lifestyle sells a variety of products that are sourced from third party partners and suppliers.  As we are not the manufacturers of these products, we can not be held responsible for any products that may result in injury, sickness, or in extreme cases, death.


Deliveries

Once orders have been received and paid for we generally dispatch products within 1-2 business days.  During busy periods this may change, but we will keep customers informed.  We offer a flat postage rate of $10.95 for orders to Australian Eastern states/territories including NSW, ACT, VIC, QLD and SA.  For orders to other areas of Australia such as WA, NT and TAS we offer a flat rate of $15.00.

 

Returns

Deliveries Returned to Us

  • Occasionally a hamper may be returned to us for one of the following reasons:

-        a card was left but there was no response from the recipient to arrange re-delivery

-        a card was left but the recipient did not pick the package up from the post office or newsagent

-        the recipient is not known at that address or has moved

-        address details are incorrect or insufficient

-        the recipient was in a hospital or hotel and has been discharged or checked out

  • If a parcel has an incorrect address, our couriers are unable to call the recipient to verify, and instead, the parcel will be returned to us
  • Hampers cannot be re-directed while in transit and will need to be returned to us before being sent to the new/correct address
  • We will inform you via email within one week of the hamper being returned to us
  • An applicable re-delivery fee will be passed on to you to facilitate the delivery of the hamper to the same or an alternative address
  • Due to the perishable nature of our hampers, orders returned to us for any of the reasons mentioned above cannot be cancelled and refunded.

Returns, Cancellations and Refunds

  • If you have any queries or concerns with the products or hamper(s) you have sent or received, please contact us via email: info(@) houseofhill.com.au. (NB: remove ( ) for email address).
  • In the event that your product or hamper and its contents arrive damaged or faulty, we will happily replace, exchange or issue a credit depending on the extent of the damage. You must contact us within 3 business days to inform us so we can investigate.
  • To assess the issue and extent of damage with the product/s, we will require photos.
  • If it is necessary for the product to be sent back to us due to damage or being faulty, we will email you a return label to cover the cost of the shipping.
  • We will not replace, exchange or issue a credit for any product that has been dispatched for more than 30 days.
  • Refunds will only be credited back to the original credit card or PayPal account used.
  • Orders cannot be cancelled once they have been prepared and are with our couriers for delivery.

Purchase of Alcohol

Some of our hampers contain alcoholic beverages.  House of Hill Gifts & Lifestyle supports the responsible service of alcohol. It is an offence to supply alcohol to or obtain alcohol on behalf of a person under the age of 18 years.

If ordering hampers that contain alcohol, you confirm that you are over the age of 18 years. It is a legal requirement that the person placing the order is over the age of 18 and the person receiving the delivery is over the age of 18.

 

Copyright, Licenses and Idea Submissions

The entire contents of the Site are protected by international copyright and trademark laws.  The owner of the copyrights and trademarks are House of Hill Gifts & Lifestyle, its affiliates or other third party licensors.  You may not modify, copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit, or distribute, in any manner, the material on the site, including text, graphics, code and/or software.  House of Hill Gifts & Lifestyle will not be held liable for any alleged or actual infringement or misappropriation of any proprietary right in your communications to House of Hill Gifts & Lifestyle.

Use of the Site

House of Hill Gifts & Lifestyle regularly checks and tries to ensure its online security measures are in place for information and online transactions.  Users of the Site assume total responsibility for using the Site and are responsible for implementing sufficient procedures and checkpoints to satisfy particular requirements for accuracy of data input and output, and for maintaining a means external to the Site for the reconstruction of any lost data.  House of Hill Gifts & Lifestyle cannot and does not guarantee or warrant that files available for downloading through the Site will be free of infection or viruses, worms, Trojan horses or other code that may contaminate or allow destructive properties.
